Christmas Trading Opportunities available for 2019 – Portobello Market Christmas Markets

This year Portobello will celebrate Christmas over the first four weekends of December bringing festive spirit, workshops, entertainment and shopping to London’s iconic Portobello Markets. Visit the Portobello’s Markets on Dec 1st-2nd, 8th-9th, 15th-16th for Christmas Jolly. On visitors can expect to find everything that about Portobello Saturdays with a little festive sparkle on top. On Sundays visitors can expect to see an array of special festive market curation and entertainment including the United Colours of Portobello Christmas Market brought to you by Portobello Green Market and I Love Markets.

On Sunday December 2nd, 9th, and 16th we will be holding in collaboration with I Love Markets the United Colours of Portobello Christmas Market on Portobello Road. We are now accepting applications from traders who wish to take part.

Take Part in the United Colours of Portobello Christmas Market

We are looking for traders with original, high quality goods that are suitable for Christmas gifts. The types of traders we are booking are:

Artisan dry foods
Artisan, handmade products
Artisan products from around the world.
Designer and makers
Handmade Arts and Crafts
Limited number of hot food and drink vendors who do not need to use an electricity supply.

Trading & Stalls

The Sunday market will operate from 10am-5pm. Portobello Road will be closed to transport during these times. Covered Show stalls will be provided. Stalls are 7ft x 3ft, tables must be requested. Click here to see the types of stalls that will be used.

Food Vendors

We have limited availability for festive Christmas food stalls. You must have a valid hygiene certificate and a minimum of 3 star hygiene rating.

3m x 3m Gazebo Stall £90 per Sunday (no electricity is available, so you must have generator or gas) or x 4 dates for £310
Pitch space only – Pitch space for traders who have their own stall design/vehicle (hot food traders) – £80 per Sunday or £280 for all 4 dates.

Alcohol Vendors

You must apply for your own TENS license via Royal Kensignton and Chelsea. This cost £21. Apply asap as it takes up to 4 weeks. Apply.

Traders Terms

All stalls must be paid for in full prior to the event.
Payment for stalls must be made by BACS
Once purchased, stalls are non-refundable
This is an outdoor event that will take place in all weather conditions. No refunds will be issued due to adverse weather conditions
All traders must have their own public liability insurance
All traders are responsible for their own goods and we cannot accept liability for any loss or damage to your products
